Why is measuring your Stress Response important?
Modern research is now telling us that in up to 90% of chronic illness, stress is the major contributing factor. More often than not our body is expressing the strain of stress without you even being aware of it or you "feeling" stressed.
A Stress Response Evaluation allows us to measure your brain and body's response and recovery to stress. The quicker you recover from stress the less impact it can have on your health.
What is being tested?
During times of stress the brain initiates specific responses within the body to increases it's chances of survival
Due to these specific responses, the Stress Response Evaluation measures:
- Brain Waves
- Breathing Rate
- Heart Rate
- Heart Rate Variability
- Hand Temperature
- Skin Conductance
- Muscle Tone & Balance
